49 YEARS EXPOSURE

“49 years exposure" is an image which sprouted during my last move to what used to be my grandparents' house. One day, while I was tidying up a room, I decided to remove the religious painting hung above the bed. There I noticed the mark left by the painting on the almost white wallpaper after so many years . This image struck me at first as it was an absence that carried within itself a presence, just like the rest of the house. Shortly afterwards I realized that the white shade was nothing more than the light that had rested on those walls for 49 years. I was living inside a large photo-graph.
